Wellington Manor Retirement Village

Wellington Manor Retirement Village have a number of 30 metre Eucalyptus Tereticornis trees between the reception building and the bowls green that are protected as they have been deemed important Koala habitat.  As a result, necessary maintenance is carried out to ensure the continued health of these trees.  If neglected, the possibility of failure of branches or even the whole tree is possible.

As a preventative measure, the trees are thinned by around 20% of their small branches allowing more air to pass through the canopy making the tree more stable during high winds.  This ensures the continued health of the trees and the ongoing Koala presence at this site.

If you have trees at your property and require information and advice on maintenance, feel free to call our friendly team at Family Tree Care to arrange a no obligation quote.
